How MatchaRated scores Pilates studios
MatchaRated scores and rankings are editorial opinions of MatchaRated Pilates. They are formed by applying the method below to publicly available information. They are not statements of fact about the quality, safety or qualifications of any Pilates studio.
Factors and weights

A studio named in a reputable editorial list can receive up to +0.3. Scores are shown out of 10.
Data sources
Public signals, public Instagram profiles and studio websites. We do not use private data. We do not use third-party photos or studio logos without permission.
As-of dates
Current scores reflect our ratings build of 17 to 18 October 2026. Each listing shows its date where available. Scores marked Provisional use public data only and can change.
What we publish
For each city we publish the Top 5 Pilates studios. Other studios we know about are listed alphabetically without a score. In Dubai we celebrate a Top 5 without scores.
Verification and ranking
Rankings are ordered by score only. Verification confirms that a business has claimed its profile and adds a Verified badge. It does not change a score or a rank. Verified studios are featured first in the Awards shortlist announcement. Nothing can be bought to change a score.
Opting out
Named instructors and listed Pilates studios can opt out of being named at any time by emailing admin@matcharated.com. We act on opt-out requests promptly.
Corrections
If something is wrong, report an error or request removal. We review every request promptly.
World's Most Influential Pilates Creators 2026 (Provisional)
This Top 10 celebrates individual Pilates creators by public reach. It is a separate list from our Pilates studio and instructor ratings, which are led by quality, credentials and teaching. Brand, media and chain accounts are not credited to individuals, and Lagree, SLT and similar non-Pilates methods are excluded.
Eligibility: individual creators with 100,000 or more Instagram followers whose like counts are public.
Raw score = 0.55 × Reach + 0.35 × Engagement + 0.10 × Pilates focus
- Reach: Instagram followers on a log scale, 0 at 100,000 and 1 at the largest eligible account.
- Engagement: average likes plus comments per post across the latest 25 public posts, divided by followers; 3% or more scores 1.
- Pilates focus: 1 if Pilates is the main focus, 0.75 if mostly Pilates, 0.5 if Pilates is one of several focuses.
Ranks only: scores are internal and are not published. We publish each creator's rank and follower count only. Internally the strongest account is set to 10 and others are scaled relative to it; ranking follows the unrounded score. This internal scale is relative to the strongest account and is not comparable with our Pilates studio or instructor scores.
